creation story questions

1.  its in human nature to question and find answers to things and when there is no logical answer people think up stories and myths.Thea's stories  aren't just made up tho, they connect to things we see around us. things like family the earth animals death etc. And because we question like this, eventually the question becomes "how did we get here?"  or where did i come from?". you could trace your existence back to the womb but then what about before that? the myths go on and are still in the world today. they operate mainly through religion, though they are different ultimately they all tell you what you are where you came from and where you go after you die.

2. in looking at both the Maori and the Australian aborigine,  its evident that they have totally different outlooks on values of life. from the Maori stories they talk about the earth as there mother and they respect it they also seem to believe that humans are superior and have a darker view on life. the Australian aborigine believe that  they are more apart of nature rather than above it. they value family and are enviornmentaly concuss.

3.  Differences:
Aborigine- respect nature, kids separate parents, one with the earth, and enviornmantaly concuss.
Maori- about family, humans are superior, dark, death, and parents separate kids.

      Similarities:
both view earth as there mother, both include gods, and both have a mother and father.

4. the part that people still question today is where it all began. the humans have struggled with the question of where people came from and why because so far there is no definite answer. we all want a purpose or a reason that we are here but this question is one that will never ba answered.

5. i believe in evolution and that people are just  another animal. this way of thinking makes me believe that humans are not superior and makes me love animals allot more.  it helps because it lets me know that i am apart of nature like everything else and makes me feel more one with the world. in my life  have grew up with animals and view them as family as as my equal.
