RABBIT PROOF FENCE

In chapter three of the rabbit proof fence, aboriginals were victu to the injustice of the european settlers. the europeans took the land from the aboriginals by force and because the aboriginals only had spears as defence and the europeans had guns the aboriginals realized that they were no match and were "forced to accept the white systems of justace and punishment".  the aboriginal laws were disgarded, therefor their culture was being destroyed and violated agenst. the practices of the aboriginal practices and beliefs were baned to a point were they had to " find ways to return to their secret and sacred sites to preform their dances and other ceremonies that were crucial to their culture and whole way of life". there half aboriginal children were "concider smarter" and were taken awayfrom them to be servents and laborers.
the civilizing of australia is verry identical to americas civilizing in that they boath discriminated and enslaved the natives. In America when the europeins came they tried to enslave the natives but most of them died off from desies. in australia the natives also died from desieses but were more resiliant to them than the native americans. they both were made slaves but also they were both killed off by the europeins almost till extinction.
some may argue that the relocating of the children of mixed decent was for there own betterment, but even tho it might of been intended to be good it was still entirely wrong.the relocating of the mixed children took them away from there familys and also when they were taken away they were made slaves. the children dislocated were treated better better than the full blood nativesbut in reality they still wernt treated as well as they should have been. the acts of the goverment were not justified, even though there intent was good  they still acted wrongly tward the half children and there famlies.

  1. Kinzie,

The writing seems rushed and the responses are undeveloped. I encourage you to revise, to expand your answers. If you do so, please email me.
